act/cut V5 for Structure results from Alma’s 30-year experience in CAM for cutting, in particular in the shipbuilding sector. With specific functions dedicated to shipbuilding (management of bevel cutting, marking/signing, multi plates / multi torches nesting and sequencing, etc.) act/cut V5 for Structure addresses all shipyards that use sheet metal cutting and marking processes.

The combination to the CATIA Structure solution provides a seamless process, from design part extraction to NC cutting programs generation through nesting, sequencing and tool path optimization. Combination is also carried out with DELMIA DPM for Structure to extract the parts to be produced.
