Alma will exhibit à Euroblech 2010 (Hanover, 26/30 October), the world’s largest sheet metal working exhibition.

 

After the opening of its new subsidiary ALMA CAM USA, LLC based in Schaumburg near Chicago, Alma becomes established in the United-States

Alma is creating a subsidiary in Brazil to distribute its CAD/CAM sheet-metal working software.

 
   

Alma has been active in the shipbuilding market for more than 25 years; Saint-Nazaire’s Chantiers de l’Atlantique (now part of the STX Shipbuilding group through Aker Yards) actively contributed to the first developments of Alma’s nesting and programming sofware. Software they used from the early eighties, when they built the “Sovereign of the Seas” ocean liner. Since then, Alma accrued an unrivaled expertise of the field and equips dozens of shipyards and off-shore platforms construction yards.
